martin
martin myrvold (b. 1982) is a lighting designer based in oslo, norway, and graduated from rose bruford college, london, in 2005 with a ba (hons) in lighting design.
since 2005, martin has worked across dance, theatre and the concert scene in norway.
martin works with a clear and precise visual expression, where simplicity can contain both artistic and technical complexity. his work takes its starting point in the movement of time, space and text, and develops through an engagement with the material of the performance and the other artistic elements within a production. the lighting design can be technically extensive, while seeking a form in which the means do not draw attention away from the whole.
