hamlet - teater manu PREMIERE

norway, 1905. the union with sweden has been dissolved, and the country stands on the threshold of a new era. in a family marked by the sudden death of the father, everyone struggles to find a way forward.

hamlet loses his footing when his mother, gertrude, seeks comfort in claudius, his father’s brother. he feels compelled to take his father’s place. as the others try to move on, his suspicions grow: who can he trust?

in this version of shakespeare’s hamlet, the story unfolds almost entirely without words. movement, imagery and sound carry the narrative, while withered flowers and faded colours make the family’s grief visible. in a home slowly falling into decay, memories, fear and reality begin to blur.
