who was the man who was convicted of treason, yet never stopped claiming his innocence? was he a master spy or a misunderstood idealist? a traitor or an unorthodox peacemaker? a man with a grandiose belief in his own role, or simply a diplomat caught in the storm between east and west?
in a world where facts are fluid and reality is manipulated, the ensemble tries to understand both him and themselves, in an explosion of satire, politics and emotion.
treholt is a newly written, large-scale production – a musical emergency drill in the moral grey zones.
